If your washer isn't receiving the proper amounts of cold and/or hot water, one or more of the solenoids in the current valve may have failed. You may also need to replace this part if you find that your washer is filling slowly, not filling at all or leaking cold water onto the floor. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
